Lucia Rybanská

JUDr. Lucia Rybanská has been engaged in intellectual property rights at a professional level for more than 15 years, for almost nine of which she has been active in industrial property rights protection at the Slovak University of Technology (STU) in Bratislava. Prior to this she worked as a lawyer and later as a head of legal section in the Slovak Association for Musical Works Rights Protection.

She is a director of Slovak Technical University Know-how Centre, which part is also Technology Transfer Office and University´s Technological Incubator. In addition to degree in law she successfully completed accredited education program Intellectual property established by Intellectual Property Institute of Industrial Property Office of the Slovak republic.

Since the National Technology Transfer Centre of the SR, an association of the Slovak universities most active in technology transfer, was established in 2015, she has represented the STU on the Committee for Conceptual Activities and Cooperation, and also on the Committee for Management of Patent Fund and Support for Technology Transfer at the Slovak National 142 Technology Transfer Centre. She is a member of an international organisation Licensing Executives Society Czech Republic & Slovakia (LES CRS) which is a part of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) and a member of the Association of European Science and Technology Transfer Professionals (ASTP). She is involved in the National Infrastructure for Supporting Technology Transfer in Slovakia II – NITT SK II, a national project implemented by the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information.
