Establishing Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) at universities and other scientific institutions in Slovakia was realised mainly from National Infrastructure for Supporting Technology Transfer in Slovakia I (NITT SK I) and later from project National Infrastructure for Supporting Technology Transfer in Slovakia II (NITT SK II). These projects covered staff at CTTs, education of employees and financial support of newly created industrial property protection.
Aim of this programme entry is to introduce next necessary steps to be performed proposed by representatives from several universities to gradually improve financial independence of TTOs after the end of national or other projects.
