He received his first Msc degree in Industrial Biotechnology. This was followed by a doctorate (PhD) in Business and Management and a specialised master’s degree in project management for Business Performance and Innovation. At the same time, he is a PM Associate certified according to IPMA.
With more than 15 years of experience in technology transfer and innovation, Mr. Loccisano has been Head of Technology Transfer at Politecnico di Torino for the last 10 years and is currently CEO of BeHold srl, the holding company that runs the university´s spin-off shares at the University of Bologna. He is also a delegated member of the board at AlmaCube srl, the incubator and innovation hub of the University of Bologna and the Confindustria Emilia Area Centro.
Mr. Loccisano is then a board member at Netval and a council member of ATTP (Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals). He is also one of two vice-chairs of the Industry, University and Government Transactions (IUGT) Committee at LES International and an active member of ASTP.
He is the author of many publications in this field, has lectured at several national and international conferences and taught courses on Technology Transfer and Innovation at the postgraduate level.
