Danka Moravčíková

Doc. Mgr. Ing. Danka Moravčíková, PhD. graduated in 1986 from the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, specialising in fermentation chemistry and bioengineering. After conducting research in a biotechnology laboratory for three years, she joined the Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA) in Nitra as a researcher. Later, she directed her attention toward social sciences and completed her doctoral studies at the Institute of Ethnology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. She holds the position of senior lecturer in ethnology at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra. Since 2014, she has been building the Transfer Centre at SUA in Nitra as part of the implementation of the EU project funded from the structural funds to support the establishment of the AgroBioTech Research Centre. She currently heads the university-wide Department for Projects and Technology and Knowledge Transfer and she is also involved in the project aimed at supporting student start-ups.
