Artur Bobovnický is a manager of new projects of Innovations and International Cooperation Section of Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency. Since 2016 he acted as a director of this section. He professionally focuses on smart specialisation (RIS3), clusters´ development support and decision-making support based on facts. Currently he is responsible for acquisition of new international projects financed from H2020 and Interreg programmes that are long-term implemented in the Agency.
He held the position of director in FMCG field (2013-2016), first mobile operator in Slovakia (1994-1999), as a partner of international advisory companies in management and innovations (1991-1994, 2004-2013) and also as historically first director of SARIO (2002-2003).
Along with his professional activities in business he also lectured at Faculty of Mass Media Communication of University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava with focus on global and strategic marketing.
Graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (1984) in Thermal and nuclear and energetic machines and devices study programme where he completed also postgraduate studies and defended his dissertation (1989).
He was born in Slovakia and spent all his youth and student´s years in Slovakia, speak several world languages and actively plays golf.
