Prof. Ing. Veronika Kotradyová, PhD. has worked at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, at the Institute of Interior and Exhibition Design since 2002 as a teacher, researcher and project manager. She specialises in design from the perspective of both humans and the environment. She is currently one of the guarantors of the study programme Design.
She has long been conducting research in the field of the wellbeing of humans and its relationship with the environment through interdisciplinary scientific studies. She began working in this field as a Fulbright scholar at the University of California, Berkeley in the USA in 2006 and later extended her interest in this area via study stays in Austria, Germany and New Zealand.
She is founder of the research and development laboratory BCDlab, the author of dozens of articles, artistic outputs, textbooks and monographs, and a practising designer.
