Radovan Čechvala is a European patent attorney, a European trademark and design attorney, and an experienced intellectual property consultant. He specialises in supporting companies as well as inventors in the process of applying for international protection of their inventions and innovations. Actively works in innovation ecosystem and as a mentor for start-ups and beginning entrepreneurs. He mainly focuses on solutions in the field of applied electronics as well as software and artificial intelligence industrial property rights protection. He is also an active member of key international organisations dealing with intellectual property protection, including European Patent Institute (EPI), the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the International Trademark Association (INTA), member of Harmonization Committee of the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) as well as associate member for IP commercialization of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). He also actively acts as a member of the Management Board of Slovak Chamber of Patent Attorneys.
