Doc. Mgr. art. Michala Lipková, ArtD. works as head of Institute of Design at FAD STU in Bratislava, where she manages at the same time product design studio TR1MTAB focused on interdisciplinary cooperation and products development early stage. Based on long-time collaboration with automobile industry she founded scientific research workplace MX Lab that focuses on design creation digital tools research and experience design in personal mobility area.
As a designer she worked for hardware start-up Benjamin button, mentioned in Kickstarter in 2017. Since 2013 she is a manager of civil association Flowers for Slovakia, which aim is presenting Slovak design abroad. The project has been awarded by several international awards including Slovak National Prize for Design in 2015 and in 2016 it became part of Slovak Presidency of Council of the European Union visual presentation.
