Martin Basila is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sensoneo, a global enterprise-grade smart waste management solutions provider. Sensoneo enables cities, businesses, and countries to manage their waste efficiently, lower their environmental footprint, and improve the quality of services. Sensoneo’s smart waste management solutions have been installed in more than 80 countries on 5 continents. Martin has extensive experience in the management of complex IT projects, programs, and integrations. He studied Automation and Robotics and prior to co-founding Sensoneo, he gained experience in companies such as Ability Development, Infineon Technologies, Ness Technologies, Infosys Technologies, and in the first IT company he founded. Martin was also an advisor to the Minister of Environment of the Slovak Republic, in the field of state information systems with a focus on waste treatment and waste industry regulations.
