Ing. arch. Kornel Kobák is an architect, urban planner, owner of FORFORM s.r.o. Bratislava and a co-founder of the AVK ARCHITECTS studio in Bratislava. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
His portfolio includes projects across the entire range of creative activities in architecture, from design to land-use planning. His works have received awards in the CE.ZA.AR and Construction of the Year competitions, been nominated for the ARCH Award and the Dušan Jurkovič Award. As the 1st Vice-Chairman of the Slovak Chamber of Architects he deals with theoretical issues of the practice of professional architects, copyright and contract law. He is a delegate of the Slovak Chamber of Architects in the Architects’ Council of Europe, he is a representative in the Platform for Creative and Cultural Industry of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic and an expert investigator of the national project Support for Creative Industry Development in Slovakia.
He represents the architecture field in panel discussion focused on intellectual property rights in creative industry.
