Jaroslav Bukovina has rich experience with design and evaluation of economic policies. He gained them during six years at Institute for Financial Policy, International Monetary Fund and OECD. Currently he leads the research and innovation policies team at Research and Innovation Authority (VAIA) which aim is to make domestic innovation ecosystem more attractive through access to venture capital, improving cooperation between academia and entrepreneurs and regulation and taxation of innovative companies. He is interested in super-deduction as a key instrument for applied research and development support practically since it was introduced and currently at VAIA coordinates significant reform of this instrument to achieve wider support of innovative performance of domestic companies.
