After completing studies and several years of private business activities Emil Fitoš spent more than 20 years in work for Siemens and later Atos companies. In 2014 he was appointed as CEO of Atos Slovakia and Atos Czech Republic. Under his management Atos became one of the leading companies in market with significant innovative potential.
In 2017 he was elected as President of the IT Association of Slovakia (ITAS) and re-elected in 2019 and 2021. Acts as Advisor for the Slovak government and vice-chairman of the Government Council for the Digitization of the Public Sector and Digital Single Market.
He influences the digitalization of Slovakia through involvement in the activities of the Digital Coalition and the Center for the Development of Artificial Intelligence AISlovakIA. He is one of the initiators of Slovak Center for Digital Innovations.
