Daniel Ács is Union of Slovak Clusters president. He is for long-time involved in development policies including cluster and innovation policy both on national and European level. In cooperation with the international consortium and DG GROW he participates in enhancing of European Cluster Cooperation Platform (ECCP). In collaboration with Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Slovak Innovative and Energy Agency and Slovak clusters he helped to prepare the first call on clusters´ support from structural funds in Slovakia. He worked as an expert on various positions for European Commission, World Bank, US Ministry of Agriculture and former Ministry of Construction and Regional Development.
