Dana Peškovičová, Mgr., PhD – appointed as leader of the Management of Science and Research Department in National Agricultural and Food Centre (NPPC). The department is responsible for project management of NPPC, intellectual property of organization management, external relations including international cooperation and activities of technology and knowledge transfer for experts and public.
She has 30 years of experience in research, especially mathematical-statistical method use in genetics and livestock breeding, production systems of husbandry modelling and measuring economic effectivity of livestock. Currently she works on research management of agrifood research in NPPC.
She is actively engaged in national and international platforms and expert groups work (RIS3 SK 2021- 2027, Standing Committee for Agricultural Research of European Commission EC – SCAR), BIOEAST initiative – Central and Eastern European initiative for knowledge-based agriculture and forestry in bioeconomic (www.bioeast.eu ) as well as European Association for Animal Science – EAAP.
Acts as co-organizer of various popularization NPPC events, scientific exhibitions and fairs and Agrofilm festival with focus on popularizing innovations and sustainable economy (www.agrofilm.sk).
