Andrea Adamčíková studied materials engineering at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology of Slovak University of Technology and later obtained PhD. degree in the same area. Since her study she has been already working as a researcher in Slovak Academy of Science and participates in various projects in materials science field. She is working as a senior consultant for innovations in Ayming company for four years.
