Ing. Lenka Bednárová, PhD. studied marketing and business management at the University of Economics in Bratislava. She spent more than ten years in the University Technology Incubator of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, of which the last seven in the position of its head, providing support for innovation. Over this period she gained experience with national and international projects, assisted students and university graduates to start their own business as technically oriented start-up companies, advising them predominantly in business planning, marketing, networking and intellectual property protection. From July 2020 she has been working as head of Department for Information Support to Technology Transfer in the Division for Technology Transfer at the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information in Bratislava.
She is responsible for marketing activities promoting awareness of intellectual property protection and technology transfer. She also heads the PATLIB Centre equipped with a range of special information resources and team of researchers who provide services in intellectual property protection to entrepreneurs, in particular, but also to the general public.
