Radim Kocourek is Deputy Director of innovation agency JIC and Managing Director of JIC Ventures, subsidiary company of JIC oriented on investment to start-up companies. JIC is based on open innovation ecosystem vision which brings together globally successful businessmen and inspires the world, all of this in Brno and South Moravia region. In JIC they’re working with entrepreneurs from beginning of their careers as well as in later stages when successful, growing companies are built. We take care also of business ecosystem quality in our region.
Radim Kocourek has 19 years of experience in start-up companies support, he cooperated in setting-up and developing JIC services for entrepreneurs support in all stages of development. Position of Managing Director in JIC Ventures focused on investment to the beginning companies builds also on previous work with start-up companies. From the deputy leader of future operator function he managed projects of new incubators and scientific-technology parks in Brno as well as JIC team focused on local business environment development, in particular creative hub KUMST was established there or prototype workshop FabLab. Radim studied economic, psychology and politology at the Masaryk University in Brno.
