Marek Kopanický is a consultant in the Department for Investment Projects of the Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO). He and his colleagues provide investors with consultancy services regarding investment assistance, R&D super-deduction, finding a suitable location, local suppliers, etc. He completed his economic diplomacy studies and graduated from the University of Economics (Ing. degree) in Bratislava and international political and economic studies at Charles University in Prague (M.A. degree). He speaks fluently English and German.
SARIO is a state organisation funded from the state budget and operates under the Ministry of the Economy of the Slovak Republic. The mission of the agency is to attract high-value-added investments to Slovakia and contribute to the regional development of the country. SARIO also supports Slovak companies and helps them penetrate global markets.
