Oto Pisoň studied international relations at the University of Economics in Bratislava and the Central European University in Budapest. Since 2014 he has worked in the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) in various consultancy and managerial positions.
While in the Department for Investment Projects, he assisted many companies interested in establishing a company in Slovakia, including manufacturing companies, shared services, IT and technology centres. He mainly focuses on innovation and the automotive industry.
Together with his colleagues, he supports investors through investment assistance advisory services, looking for suitable location, suppliers etc. As an innovations manager, he leads the innovative agenda of the SARIO agency, which brings benefits especially to industrial and logistics parks, especially in automation, robotics and process optimisation. This service is also designed for business development of Slovak technological companies. All the services of the Department for Investment Project are provided free of charge.
SARIO is a governmental organisation of the Ministry of the Economy of the Slovak Republic funded from the state budget. The agency’s mission is to attract investments with high added value to Slovakia and to contribute to the regional development of the country. SARIO also supports Slovak companies to enhance their competitiveness in global markets. The agency’s vision is to help transform Slovakia into a technological and innovation incubator and to become a strong partner for companies planning to invest in Central Europe.
