About us
Slovak Centre for Scientific and Technological Information (hereinafter only “SCSTI”) is a subsidiary organization (public body) of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. The SCSTI is the national information centre for science, technology, innovation and education and specialized scientific library of the Slovak Republic. It coordinates activities and ensures the operation of interdisciplinary R&D centers and national infrastructures for research, development, innovation and education.
SCSTI has adopted adequate technical and organisational measures to ensure security of personal data processing, that are described in document published on www.cvtisr.sk, see section PRIVACY POLICY
The purpose of this document is to inform all those concerned of the conditions under which SCSTI processes personal data. Any questions on the protection of your personal data may be posted to the SCSTI address or sent to email

Which personal data we collect and why
With regard to COOPERATION INNOVATION TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER (hereinafter “event”) conducting SCSTI (controller) collects and processes personal data for following purposes:

Arrangement between joint controllers
Arrangement between joint controllers (hereinafter “Arrangement”) was signed between the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technological Information, Identification number 00151882 (controller 1), Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency, Identification number: 00002801(controller 2) and Civitta Slovakia, a. s. company, Identification number: 36740454 (controller 3) with purpose of promotion of research, science and technology, including raising awareness in innovations field through publication of visual, audio and audio-visual recordings from COOPERATION INNOVATION TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER 2022 event.
This purpose contains taking photos and other visual, audio and audio-visual recordings during the conference part of the event held on October 18th – 19th , 2022.
Legal basis of arrangement: data subject consent
Personal data are collected directly from data subjects (photos and recordings from the event).
Retention period: 5 years from the end date of the event, i.e., till October 19th, 2027.
Recipients of the personal data: personal data are published on joint controllers´websites and social networks Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Recipients of the personal data are:
- external supporter and administrator of websites of controller 1, controller 2 and controller 3
- Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn social networks controllers
- visitors of aforementioned websites and social networks users where photos/recordings are published.
